FAQ

Can I get a copy of my exam paper?

Candidates can request a copy of their exam paper by contacting the centre where they took the exam.

If you are a private candidate, you may prefer to request this direct through Pearson.

To do this, please contact our students, parents, and carers support team via our customer contact portal.

Can I get my coursework back?

All coursework will be returned to your centre once the post-results period has finished.

Can I have my coursework re-moderated?

Re-moderation of coursework is possible; however, this can only be requested by the centre because any changes can affect all candidates.

The original sample of several learner's work will be sent to be re-moderated, and the outcome can result in marks going up, down, or remaining the same.

What are my results?

We are unable to confirm any results (or any other personal data) directly to students, parents, or carers. Students will need to contact their centre to obtain their results.

When will I get my certificate?

Academic (such as GCSEs and A levels): Certificates are released a few weeks after the post-results period has ended. The exact dates are listed in the Key Dates section of the Information Manual.

Vocational (such as BTECs): Depending on the qualification type, certificates are either released in line with Academic certificates, or are printed within a week of being requested by the centre (providing all checks have been passed).

When will my results go to UCAS?

Providing you have already applied for University through UCAS before completion of your qualification, we will send your results to UCAS automatically from the day results are released.

We continue to send updated files to UCAS until after the post-results period has been completed, to ensure any grade changes are communicated to them.
