FAQ

How much does it cost to take an exam?

You can find a list of our entry fees on our website here.

Please note: these fees are the amount that we charge centres for making entries. Private candidates should expect to pay additional administrative costs to the centre where they will take their exams. All private candidate fees are payable to the centre; Pearson does not accept payment directly from candidates and cannot make entries on their behalf.

Late cash-in requests

Late cash-ins can only be requested if the specification you completed is still current.

Late cash-ins can only be requested from centres, not from candidates, therefore, if you need a late cash-in, please speak to the centre where you sat the exams.

My personal details are incorrect

If it has been less than 5 years since you completed your qualification, you should contact the centre where you studied. The centre can contact Pearson and ask for the changes to be made.

If the centre has closed or it has been more than 5 years since you completed your qualification, you will need to make a replacement certificate application. The Replacement Certificate team will review requests on a case-by-case basis and respond to you directly.

What are the entry deadlines?

Key dates for your qualifications can be found on our website here:

Please note: these key dates may only be relevant to centres, centres may have their own key dates and deadlines for students, so it’s best to check with them directly.
