If you're unable to find the information you need, or have any further questions, please contact UCAS directly.

SIA
|
If the SIA have told you that they have not received your details from Pearson, please contact the centre where you completed the qualification as they will need to check the following:
- your picture has successfully uploaded to our system
- your signature has successfully uploaded to our system
- your certificate has been claimed and printed
- the details you provided to the SIA exactly match the registration (name, date of birth etc.)
If the centre confirms that all the above is correct, they will need to contact us on your behalf to discuss the matter further.
Our students, parents, and carers support team cannot discuss this information with students.

Transfer to a different centre
|
If you are studying a vocational qualification, such as a BTEC, and you wish to transfer to a different centre to continue your studies, the new centre will require your registration number. Registrations are active for 5 years and registration numbers can be obtained from your current centre. If this is not possible, please contact our students, parents and carers support team via our customer contact portal.
If you wish to transfer to a new centre to continue an academic qualification, such as GCSEs or A levels, the new centre will make new entries for you for the relevant examination series. If you have already completed some examinations, the new centre will require your UCI number.
UCI numbers can be obtained from your current centre. If this is not possible, please contact our students, parents and carers support team via our customer contact portal.

Equivalencies
|
It's not always easy to compare one qualification to another, however, some qualifications can be compared in terms of their level, size, and content. If you would like to compare your BTEC qualification to GCSEs or A levels, you can find some equivalency information on our website.

NVQs are only equivalent by level, for example:
A level 2 NVQ is at the same level as GCSEs and a level 3 NVQ is at the same level as A levels.
