For new or existing UK Schools applying to offer vocational qualifications for the first time, the application process can take up to 20 working days to be able to start running the qualification.
If you already have vocational approval and want to teach a new BTEC Level 1/2 or Level 3 course, then your application will be fast-tracked. This process can take up to 3 working days to approve.
Please Note: certain specialist qualifications, as well as Applied Science, Children’s Play Learning and Development, and Animal Care, will have extra requirements which can be found in the Approvals Handbook and should be read and understood before submitting your application.
