Centres delivering the Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) are required to have Edexcel Online accounts for:
Edexcel Online (EOL) accounts for centre examination/administration staff are created and managed by Pearson.
This will ensure only active roles are visible within EOL and that the correct contacts receive communications from us.
If your centre requires any amendments to the Head of Centre (HoC) or Examinations staff within EOL, please complete the Head of Centre and Exams Officer form. You are required to have access to EOL already to complete the form.
If there is no one in the centre with existing EOL access, please call to speak to one of our expert team on +44(0) 120 4770 696. They will then assist you further.
Once we have received your request, we will conduct a secure ring-back to ensure that all examination staff accounts within EOL are correct.
Pearson will continue to periodically review accounts, including those which you have confirmed as being required. Any accounts which have not been logged into in the past 2 years will be permanently deleted.

Edexcel Online (EOL) accounts for Finance officers are created and managed by the centre. To set up an EOL account for your centre Finance Officer, please see the below instructions.
Please note: not all Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) centres require a Finance officer.
A Finance Officer requires 'Basic Access' and 'Invoice Enquiries' profile options allowing them to access the relevant areas in EOL. To view a description of these options, hover the cursor over these profiles, and you’ll see a tooltip giving a brief explanation of what they do, or click here to see the complete list and explanations.
You cannot grant access to profiles unless you have them yourself.
1. Once logged in to Edexcel Online, hover over 'Centre Accounts' on the left side menu, then select 'List Accounts':
2. You will be presented with a list of registered users. Click on the email address of the individual you want to edit/adjust:
3. Update the 'Job Role'; please make sure that you check the box, so all invoices and statements are sent to the centre email address provided for EOL.
Please note: If you have more than one role in the centre, please always ensure your primary role is entered first, e.g. if your primary role is Examinations Officer, but you are also the Finance Officer, select Examinations Officer in the 'Job Role' option. Then Finance Officer would be entered in the 'Secondary Job Role' section:
4. See the below list of profile options for Finance Officers:
4. Once you have finished adjusting these options, scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Submit' to complete the process:

Logging into EOL accounts using multi-factor authentication (MFA).
We have now introduced additional security to Edexcel Online, using Multi-factor authentication (MFA). This is an additional measure to protect user, centre and learner data. For detailed information, including downloading the app to your mobile device and using it to complete the sign-in process. Please see Pearson Portal Authenticator for details.
Please Note: With the introduction of MFA to EOL, all centres can only have one user per Edexcel Online account; hence, with additional security measures Pearson has in place, it will supersede JCQ ICE regulation 4.4, which states, "Email accounts used for secure material access must belong to named individuals or be a group email account accessed solely by individuals authorised by the head of centre to handle secure materials."
General EOL (EOL) Account Security
You'll need to use the e-mail address provided to you by your centre, and this e-mail address will become your EOL username. It is a requirement that all users are set up with a centre domain email address, e.g. name@centrename.com, as opposed to Gmail, Yahoo etc.
It is best practice to change your password regularly, using a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters for extra security.
If you have entered a password that has been matched to one of the most commonly used on the internet for additional security, you will see a warning message and be asked to choose another.
Pleas see Edexcel Online: Resetting your Password for additional support.
Please note: In all cases, only the account holder should have access to their online account. Under no circumstances should any other person log in to your account, and your log in details should never be shared. Failure to comply with these rules could result in a data breach which could constitute a breach of the terms and conditions of Pearson centre approval.
