Logging into EOL accounts using multi-factor authentication (MFA).
We have now introduced additional security to Edexcel Online, using Multi-factor authentication (MFA). This is a further measure to protect user, centre and learner data. With the introduction of MFA to EOL, all centres can only have one user per Edexcel Online account; hence, with additional security measures Pearson has in place, it will supersede JCQ ICE regulation 4.4, which states, "Email accounts used for secure material access must belong to named individuals or be a group email account accessed solely by individuals authorised by the head of centre to handle secure materials."

Q: What will happen with my EOL account?
| A: Your account will remain the same. Centres can now directly create, amend and delete exam staff accounts on Edexcel Online, as long as a user has the 'centre admin' permission ticked on their account. |

Q: Can I still delete non-active accounts?
| A: Yes, permissions to delete inactive accounts remain available to examination staff. |

Q: Can I still create other staff accounts, e.g., Teachers, Quality Nominees?
| A: Yes. You will still be able to create and edit non-exam administration accounts. |

Q: Are there any new EOL accounts that can't be managed in the centre?
| A: If your centre requires any amendments to Head of Centre (HOC) accounts within EOL, please complete the Head of Centre form. You must already have access to EOL to complete the form. Once the form has been submitted, Pearson will call to verify the account and the required permissions.
Pearson will continue to periodically review accounts, including those which you have confirmed as being required. Any accounts which have not been logged into in the past 2 years will be permanently deleted.

Q: I need a new EOL account created but don't have access to do this?
| A: If you require a new exam staff EOL account, please speak to your existing Exams staff. As long as a user has the 'centre admin' permission ticked on their account, they can create an account for you. |

| A: Should you require urgent support with creating a new account, please speak to one of your existing Exams staff. As long as a user has the 'centre admin' permission ticked on their account, they can create an account for you.

Q: I urgently need a change to my account?
| A: Should you require urgent support with changing an existing account, please speak to one of your Exams staff members. As long as a user has the 'centre admin' permission ticked on their account, they can create an account for you.
