Potential Issues When Submitting Test Bookings On Edexcel Online.png

If you are unable to book an onscreen test, there could be a number of reasons preventing the booking.
Please check the following:

  • Your centre holds approval for the qualification you are attempting to book
  • You have candidates registered on to the programme you are trying to book
  • You have sufficient access to Pearson systems to make test bookings
  • The specific candidate has not already completed the unit you are attempting to book
  • You have provided at least 2 hours between the current time and the time you are trying to book
  • Any previous test bookings for your candidate that were not sat/attempted have been marked absent and uploaded
  • If you get the message 'Promissor ID not valid', please ensure you have selected a venue e.g. 'Test taken at centre' or 'Offsite'

If you have checked the above and you are still unable to book your onscreen test, please create a case, and a Customer Services Specialist will investigate the issue and provide an update within two working days.
