General Qualification paper despatch dates - June 2026

We will commence despatch of modified question papers on the following dates:

UK Centres

For GCSE Maths or English exams, the despatch of standard and modified question papers has now commenced.

Any modified paper orders you have made for Large Print or Braille will be despatched separately to your standard exam materials and will be in green tamper proof packaging to help you differentiate these from the standard papers.

You will be able to track your standard question paper despatch for general qualifications via Edexcel Online.

If you require electronic copies of these question papers, please check your Edexcel Online accounts are up to date, ensuring you have access to our Secure Download Service (SDS).

Hard copy modified paper despatch

We strive to deliver papers to centres a minimum of 5 days before the examination date.
You will receive a delivery schedule with your first delivery of modified papers with details of any outstanding paper deliveries.

If it is less than 5 days before the exam and you have still not received the paper, check that your request was successfully submitted.
If you’re confident that your order exists and is completed on the Access Arrangements Online Tool, please email additional_requirements@pearson.com.

Where physical papers cannot be delivered due to late orders or if the centre cannot accept papers/CDs they will be sent via Secure File Transfer (SFT) for the centre to download and print. This will be advised via email to the centre.

Interactive and non-interactive PDF modified paper despatch

For digital copies of exams, such as interactive and standard PDFs to be printed on coloured paper, you can contact a customer service specialist who will be able to request an electronic transfer on the day of the exam. If the paper is also modified, please contact additional_requirements@pearson.com stating your order number and that a PDF is required.

If you require a PDF of a paper sending to you, please see the following instructions:

BTEC papers: please contact one of our Customer Services Specialists who can arrange with our Question Paper Despatch team for it to be sent electronically. These are then sent by Secure File Transfer (SFT) from 8:00 am UK time for morning exams and from 12:30 pm UK time for afternoon exams.

General Qualifications (GQ) papers: please note that you will be able to access these from the Secure Download Service (SDS), providing you have made your entries at least 24 hours before the test date. The papers will be available 60 minutes before the start of the exam, except for IAL, which will be available from 5 am UK time for morning exams, and 8 am UK time for afternoon exams.

Please note: Please ensure that all requests have corresponding entries made on Edexcel Online.
