Autumn 2024 exam series paper despatch dates
You can expect to start receiving standard and modified question papers from the following dates:
UK Centres
- GCSE Maths or English exams taking place in November: from Tuesday 15 October
- International GCSE taking place in October/November: from Friday 4th October
International Centres
- English as a Second Language (4ES1) Speaking Materials: from Monday 9 September
- iPLS: from Monday 9 September
- International A Level (IAL): from Monday 16 September
- International GCSE: from Thursday 3 October
- For any candidates resitting GCSE Maths or English exams in November: from Thursday 10 October
If you require electronic copies of these question papers, please check your EOL accounts are up-to-date, ensuring you have access to our Secure Download Service (SDS) service.
You can track your standard question paper despatch for general qualifications or view who signed for the package via Edexcel Online.
Please Note: You may receive more than one delivery across the session due to the number of exams and individual centre's storage facilities; therefore, please check the tracking information before contacting us.

Please note: We currently do not operate an online system for you to track the delivery of question papers for qualifications that are managed through our BTEC & Functional Skills menu option on Edexcel Online. Please create a case, and a Customer Services Specialist will provide a delivery update to you within two working days.

Additional information for both UK and International Centres
Modified formats
- Not all papers will be despatched at the same time; they will be sent as soon as they are ready.
- If it is a late order, then they may not arrive until the day of the exam, or they will be sent electronically on the day of the exam.
We will commence despatch of modified question papers on the following dates:
- November 2024 International GCSE – 2 October 2024
- November 2024 GCSE – 9 October 2024
Any modified paper orders you have made for Large Print or Braille will be despatched separately to your standard exam materials and will be in green tamper proof packaging to help you differentiate these from the standard papers. We strive to deliver papers to centres a minimum of 5 days before an examination date. Where physical papers cannot be delivered due to late orders, we will send a PDF copy on a Secure File Transfer.
Missing question papers
Question papers will only be delivered, providing entries have been made for a subject. Therefore, first, please check your entries.
Please contact a Customer Services Specialist by creating a case record if you have any concerns; you will receive an update to the case within two working days.
Question papers 'Pending' on the tracking list
Please only contact us if it is within 7 days of the exam taking place.
