UK centres:

When you receive your attendance register for each exam session, it should include white or yellow labels with a return address. The white labels are to be posted via Royal Mail's recorded or traceable service; yellow labels are to be returned to us via Parcelforce.

If you have not received your white label, please return exam scripts to:

Pearson
Fretwell Road
(off Hellaby Lane)
Hellaby Industrial Estate
Rotherham
South Yorkshire
S66 8HN

If you have yet to receive your yellow label, please see Missing Parcelforce Exam Paper Labels.

When returning exam scripts:

  • You should use treasury tags to attach additional sheets to the exam scripts if required.
  • Centres are not required to return Question booklets, Inserts and drama notes back to Pearson; you may keep them locked away securely until after the exam session has finished, then either destroy them or use them for future practice exams.
  • Please ensure that the word processing document is attached to the script it refers to with a treasury tag, whether the candidate has written in it or not; this will ensure it is scanned with the right candidate and can't be lost when processing the script(s).
  • Please ensure that the candidate's name and number are written on the script and every attachment page; this reduces the risk of receiving scripts with no information on them, which could potentially delay the marking and issuing of results.
  • Centres are not required to return blank papers to us; you may keep them locked away securely until after the exam session has finished, then either destroy them or use them for future practice exams.

BTEC centres:

  • When returning BTEC papers, If the candidate has made notes these should not be returned with the script, sometimes these "notes" are confused as being an extra sheet containing answers, any candidate made notes should not be returned with the script(s).
