Safeguarding in InvestigationsThis session will provide an insight into investigations into candidate, centre and teacher malpractice; how they are carried out in a way that prioritises the safety and welfare of everyone involved in the process:

  • What are our top priorities when planning the investigation strategy to maintain the welfare of those involved?
  • Are there any reasonable adjustments that can be made for investigations?
  • Advice on managing investigation requests (gathering information, collecting statements)
  • Guidance about the new (2025-26) safeguarding maladministration offence, including case studies.
