| Safeguarding in Investigations | This session will provide an insight into investigations into candidate, centre and teacher malpractice; how they are carried out in a way that prioritises the safety and welfare of everyone involved in the process:
- How does Pearson minimise the personal impact caused by investigations?
- What are our top priorities when planning the investigation strategy to maintain the welfare of those involved?
- Are there any reasonable adjustments that can be made for investigations?
- Advice on managing investigation requests (gathering information, collecting statements)
- Guidance about the new (2025-26) safeguarding maladministration offence, including case studies.
