For this academic year certificates must be claimed before 31 August 2027.
Certificates will only be released after external standards verification is complete. If the external verification has not taken place, centre marks for learners will still be accepted, however, learners will not receive certificates until external verification has been completed. After external verification, you'll receive a Standards Verification Report indicating which certificates can be released, please see the table below for details.
Standards Verification Report outcomes explained
External Verification outcome
What this means?
Yes
The centre has met the minimum sample requirement for programme release. Direct claim status (DCS) is given for the remainder of the academic year and certificates will be released automatically until 31st August 2027.
No
The centre has consistently not met its action points, or the Standards Verifier is not satisfied that the samples can be released. Certificates will not be released until the required actions are completed.
Limited release
The centre has not met the minimum sample requirement. Only the learners identified in the Standards Verification Report will be released for certification.
N/A
No samples were seen for this qualification and level
Each programme level is verified and released independently, so you may achieve DCS for some levels whilst others only receive 'Limited Release' or 'N/A' if no sampling took place for that level.
Deadline for external verification
External verification for this academic year must take place before 31 July 2027. External verification requests after this date will only be considered on case-by-case basis.
