Important

Effective from 01 August 2025, the following terminology will change as outlined in Annex B of the Apprenticeship Funding Rules 2025-2026 document:

  • Apprenticeship Assessment will replace End-Point Assessment
  • Assessment Organisation will replace End-Point Assessment Organisation
  • Gateway to Completion will replace Gateway

All the appropriate guidance documents and support will be updated in due course to reflect these changes. Please ensure to use the correct terms when searching for support.

Re-sits can be requested for each learner from ACE360. Once a re-sit has been requested, Pearson will consider the EPA request and either accept or reject the request.

If the request is rejected, and the fail grade is confirmed, the Lead IQA will notify you via email why the re-sit request was rejected. If accepted, you will need to request the re-sit to be assessed for the EPA component the apprentice previously failed through the booking tool.

Further details and guidance on bookings, can be found by visiting the ACE360 Support section in Circle.

Please note: ACE360 Knowledge Base articles have now transitioned to the Skills Federation Circle, you can sign up for this here.

Some apprenticeship standards have a limited amount of re-sits available, please refer to the Pearson EPA specification or the assessment plan available on the Skills England (formerly Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education) website.
