Important

Effective from 01 August 2025, the following terminology will change as outlined in Annex B of the Apprenticeship Funding Rules 2025-2026 document:

Apprenticeship Assessment will replace End-Point Assessment
Assessment Organisation will replace End-Point Assessment Organisation
Gateway to Completion will replace Gateway

All the appropriate guidance documents and support will be updated in due course to reflect these changes. Please ensure to use the correct terms when searching for support.

Rogo offers two invigilation types for onscreen EPA knowledge tests, please select an option for more information:

Traditional Invigilation (in-person)

Remote Invigilation

Please note: The results timeframe will begin the following working day of the scheduled test.

Once the apprentice record has been Approved for EPA by the IEA, and this status is showing within the apprentice's record in ACE360, you can now schedule the EPA knowledge test.

In the apprentice's record, scroll down to the bottom of the screen; there is a section titled, Bookings; from here, please click Create Booking:

You will be taken into the booking tool in ACE360, where you can schedule the EPA knowledge test in a couple of quick clicks.

Please select only the knowledge test component from the available list (options will differ based on the apprenticeship standard).
Once the component has turned blue, please click Next to take you to the next screen of the booking.

Please note: Do not submit group bookings; one apprentice per booking.

You can now choose the date when the apprentice would like to take their EPA knowledge test from the calendar tool.
Please ensure you provide a minimum of 7 days notice when booking the EPA knowledge test; this is to allow the process of creating each test session in Rogo to be completed.
For any EPA knowledge tests where an invigilator is present, please select In-Person.
- A new menu will expand within the booking screen to enter the location of the assessment.
- You will need to choose an Assessment Venue; please select Other from the drop-down menu and use the postcode search tool to add the necessary details.
Once the appropriate Assessment Type has been selected, please click Next.

Once all the required details have been entered, please click Submit in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
By default, a confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to confirm with either Yes or No.

After you have confirmed & submitted the EPA knowledge test booking, it will appear in the apprentice record on the date you have chosen:

The EPA Test Delivery team will review the booking request to ensure it meets the relevant date requirements, the booking will then be confirmed.
Once the booking is confirmed, it is ready to be taken on the selected date.

Remote Invigilation

Once the apprentice record has been Approved for EPA by the IEA, and this status is showing within the apprentice's record in ACE360, you can now schedule the EPA knowledge test.
