This can be applied directly in ACE360 for the apprentice who requires a break in learning based on their circumstances (such as maternity leave or long-term illness).
Please note, that this can only be done if the apprentice's status is in one of the following stages:
- In Training
- Gateway in Progress
- Gateway Evidence Complete
- Gateway Approved
In the apprentice record, a
Break in Learning can be applied by selecting it from the
Actions menu, as below.
Once confirmed, this will automatically move the apprentice record to the
Archived Records tab within the apprentice record section of ACE360. In the apprentice record, it will indicate the status of the record as a
Break in Learning, this will assist the EPAO (Pearson) with EPA forecasting.
When an apprentice is ready to resume their learning, you can change this in ACE360. By navigating to the apprentice record in the
Archived Records tab, select the apprentice record and under the
Actions menu, there will be an option for you to
Resume Learning. This will move the apprentice record automatically to the
Live Records tab within the apprentice records section.
