If you wish to amend unit grades after the award documentation has been issued, you'll need to send us a written explanation for claim additions/removals and amendments.
If the learner has been certificated and you require an amendment to a claim, you'll need to submit a BTEC Unit Grade Amendment form (located in the main central text area after selecting ‘BTEC & Functional Skills’ from the drop-down menu).
Please do not send the original certificate back unless it is one of the following qualifications:
- All Security qualifications
- Health and Social Care
- Early Years
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Higher Nationals
- BTEC Construction
If the certificate is not one of the above qualifications, please confirm that you have securely destroyed (for example, by shredding or incineration) the original certificate via the comments of your BTEC Unit Grade Amendment form found on Edexcel Online (located in the main central text area after selecting ‘BTEC & Functional Skills’ from the drop-down menu).
Please note: If we receive your request for an amended certificate more than a month after the certificates have been issued, we'll charge a duplicate certificate fee.
