Important Update to ESOL Assessments from September 2024
As part of our commitment to constantly improving our qualifications and ensuring that your customer voice is heard, we have made some minor amendments to our ESOL assessments. You can find more detail on these changes in the following blog post, Amendments to Pearson’s ESOL Assessments.

Accessing ESOL Secure Assessments:
- There are three sets of live papers available each year, which you can access from Secure Tests. You will need your Edexcel Online account with SDS permissions to download secure content to access the test papers.
- New sets will be uploaded annually, between September and November.
- Test administrators must check the date that the set is valid "from and to" on the front cover before preparing tests and giving these to the candidates.
- Old sets will be left on the website for a few days after they expire until they are replaced. It is not permitted for candidates to sit expired sets, so please select an assessment from of the other available sets.
