UK Centres
If a certificate has been lost within the centre and a replacement is required, please create a case record and include the following details:
- Centre number
- Candidate/registration number
- Candidate name
- Qualification
- Exam series (if applicable)
- Reason for replacement
You will receive a replacement within 10-14 working days.

Students
If a candidate has lost their certificate or wants another copy, they can order this directly through the Certificate services section of our website.
The fee for students submitting replacement certificate requests are:
- Standard replacement certificate UK delivery - £57
- Priority replacement certificate UK delivery - £77
- Customised letter UK delivery - £113
- Additional copies and delivery addresses will be charged in addition and total cost will be displayed upon checkout.
We aim to complete applications within 20 working days for standard applications and 5 working days for priority; however this may take longer during busy periods.

Returning Certificates to Pearson
For any required certificate amendments, the only original certificates needed to be returned to Pearson are for the following qualifications:
- All Security qualifications
- Health and Social Care
- Early Years
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Higher Nationals
- BTEC Construction
Certificates for the above qualifications have to be returned to Pearson within 30 days of the centre receiving the original certificate.
For all general qualifications and any vocational qualification not mentioned in the list above, certificates do not need to be returned and can be securely destroyed within centre.
