Important: The application process for BTEC Tech Awards 2022 is different from other BTEC qualifications. An application for service 1 (EAR1) or service 2 (EAR2) will mirror the process used by our General Qualifications such as GCSE, A-level, etc. For support with making an application for service 1 or service 2 using Edexcel Online (EOL), please see: Post-Results: How to Apply.

1. To sign in, please go to https://edexcelonline.pearson.com; you will be asked to enter your usual Edexcel Online credentials, and once you click sign in, a verification code will be sent to the Pearson Authenticator app. For further information, including downloading the app to your mobile device and using it to complete the sign-in process. Please see Pearson Portal Authenticator for details.
2. You will then be directed to the EOL home page:
3. Select 'BTEC Tech Awards, Sept22 onwards' from the drop-down box in the top left corner of the page:
4. Select 'Post Results' and then select 'New Request' from the menu options on the left side of the screen:
5. Select 'Service Type' and input the specific component entry code in the 'Unit' box (Please refer to the details contained in the Pearson Information Manual for specific unit codes for Tech Award components).
A review of moderation (Service 3) replicates the original moderation process; therefore, the same sample will need to be available for review. Any mark changes may impact all candidates completing this component at the centre in the current exam session. Click 'Submit' to proceed:
6. You will be presented with a list of candidates who have been issued with results for the selected session. Ensure that all the correct learners are contained in the list. In addition, you will be able to see if the learner is attached to another PRS request:
7. Select the statement that matches your circumstance at the bottom of the page. Then, click 'Submit' to complete your request:
8. Review the Information displayed on the page. We will not charge for this service if the centre marks are reinstated as a result of the review of moderation. In all other cases, the full fee will apply. The standard fee is £224.80 minimum (up to five candidates) and £17.40 for each additional candidate.
To submit the information, click 'Proceed':
9. Once submitted you will see the message shown below:

4. Select 'Post Results' and then select 'Track Request' from the menu options on the left side of the screen:
5. You can use either a 'Case Reference Number' or specific details from the PRS case you are looking for to complete your search. At least one detail must be provided for a successful search. Click the corresponding 'Search' button to proceed:
6. You will see a list of all the PRS cases that match your search criteria. The status of your case can be seen in the 'Status' column. To view the content of the case, click the 'View' link in the right-side column:

Outcome letters Outcome letters are sent to the Edexcel Online mailbox of the person who originally requested the service.
It is possible to receive some outcomes before others, depending on the individual examiner it has been sent to.
Therefore, please allow the full-service level (shown in the above table) before chasing a request.
