FAQ
How to Access Standards Verification Reports

BTEC Standards Verification reports are produced by your allocated Standards Verifier (SV) and made available through Edexcel Online. Please see the below steps:

1. Sign in to Edexcel Online
To sign in, please go to https://edexcelonline.pearson.com; you will be asked to enter your usual Edexcel Online credentials, and once you click sign in, a verification code will be sent to the Pearson Authenticator app.

For further information, including downloading the app to your mobile device and using it to complete the sign-in process. Please see Pearson Portal Authenticator for details.

2. Navigate to the EOL home page
You will then be directed to the EOL home page:

Understanding Report Statuses

The report status will show different messages depending on the progress of your Standards Verification:

  • If the status shows 'Not yet fully sampled', then a full sample has not taken place, and certification cannot be released.
  • If the status shows 'Outstanding', then we are still awaiting the report to be uploaded by the SV.
  • If the status shows as 'Certification Pending - Centre Action Required', the SV has identified inaccurate assessment in one or more learners. Therefore, a second sample is required.
  • If the report status shows as 'Released', you can click on this, and it will download the report.
Need Help or Have Questions?

If you have any questions about the report or any issues with the SV, please create a case record, providing details of the programme and your concerns. A Customer Services Specialist will update your case within two working days.
