BTEC External Assessments are either paper-based exams, set tasks or onscreen tests set and marked by Pearson.
These assessments can be timetabled, on-demand, or have an assessment window. To find which type of assessment is required, please check the course specification and administrative support guide (ASG).

If the requirements of the external assessment include a booking, this is done through Edexcel Online. This enables the materials to be sent to your centre, allowing your learners to take the assessment. Due to this requirement, there will be a deadline by which Pearson will need to have received these exam entries.
