What is a BTEC Centre Handbook?
We recommend centres have a BTEC Centre Handbook that is compiled by the Quality Nominee. This is good practice to develop consistency across all BTEC provision and will be key to success. It also supports Pearson representatives to undertake quality assurance monitoring activities.
The BTEC Centre Handbook should contain centre-wide quality assurance documentation that is applicable to all BTEC programmes, and the content will vary according to the size and type of centre. |

- Assessment & IV templates:

- Unit achievement

What is a BTEC Programme File?
Lead Internal Verifiers are responsible for creating and maintaining a BTEC Programme File. This is a day-to-day management file which contains a variety of documentation about the different cohorts studying a programme. This file will contain much of the information required for your quality assurance, Centre Check-in Activity (if applicable) and Standards Verification sampling activities. |  |
