BTEC Nationals
For some of our BTEC Level 3 Nationals Assessments, there is a change to the submission method and how you will receive attendance registers and learner place cards.
The learner's work for relevant selected externally assessed units will need to be uploaded to Digital Learner Work Transfer (LWT). For additional support regarding submission of work via LWT, please see BTEC External Assessments: LWT Guidance.
For any external assessment unit that is not submitted via LWT, you will receive an attendance register with your delivery labels and learner place cards at least 2 weeks before the scheduled exam date, providing you have made your entries before the appropriate deadline.
Please note: If you have not received an attendance register, you can produce your own. Please see BTEC: Missing Attendance Registers
BTEC Firsts and Tech Awards (2017), BTEC Level 2 Technicals
BTEC attendance registers are sent with your delivery labels, separate from exam papers. You should receive the registers at least 2 weeks before the scheduled exam date, provided you have made your entries before the deadline.
- If you make a late entry for an examination, we will dispatch these within 5-7 working days of you making the entry
- If your entry has been made less than a week in advance of the examination, we recommend that you create your own attendance register
You can do this by either printing out your list of candidates from Edexcel Online, creating a list printed on centre-headed paper, or creating one via your centre’s Management Information System (MIS).
For detailed instructions, please see BTEC: Missing Attendance Registers.
