Approvals: Becoming A Pearson Registered Centre

To start the process of becoming an approved Pearson centre or setting up a new centre, please use the following forms:

• UK Centre wishing to offer Vocational qualifications - If you are already a Pearson approved centre in the UK, you can apply to deliver vocational qualifications via Edexcel Online.

• UK Centre wishing to offer Academic qualifications - If you are an academic Pearson approved centre, you don't need to apply for further approval to deliver additional academic qualifications. • • If you are an Approved Pearson Vocational Centre without current JCQ Approval and you would like to deliver academic qualifications, please contact us via the Pearson support portal. Set the 'Request Type' as 'Approvals & Centre Details' and we'll help you with the next steps.

• Non-UK Centres - If you're already a Pearson approved centre outside the UK and you'd like to deliver additional qualifications, please register your interest to deliver additional qualifications and we'll be in touch with the relevant information.

Centre approval fee:

We'll be charging a one-off fee of £1000 upon successful approval as a brand new Pearson UK college or work-based learning centre.

Payment will be subject to Pearson's usual payment terms of 30 days. If you fail to pay in time, this will be a breach of the terms and conditions of payment and may lead to the withdrawal of approval.

Minimum spend threshold:

Work-Based Learning Centres and Colleges delivering Pearson vocational qualifications are subject to a minimum spend of £5,000, which is calculated across the year from 1st September - 31st August (of the following year).

We will obtain a credit report from Dun & Bradstreet which will be used to determine the level of credit that can be granted.

UK Centres:

Once we have received the form, please allow up to 2 working days for a member of our Sales team to get in contact with you with the relevant Approval forms.

Depending on each application type, your approval may take between 5- 20 working days; please see the Approvals Handbook for guidance on different Approval routes.

International Centres:

Once we have received the form, please allow up to 2 working days for a Regional Manager to contact you to discuss the process of gaining approval.
